English: The 172d Airlift Wing was represented by this C-17 Globemaster on static display during the Experimential Aircraft Association's annual AirVenture, Oshkosh, Wis., Aug. 3, 2014. AirVenture 2014 is the annual Airplane convention celebrating the homebuilt aircraft. AirVenture brings people from around the world to Oshkosh, Wis. for seven days to see the latest and greatest airplanes and airplane equipment the world has to offer. In addition to the businesses that showcase their airplanes over 10,000 privatly owned aircraft fly into Oshkosh to park their airplane and camp next to it.
