Italiano: Aidone portale laterale, in pietra calcarea, della chiesa di Santa Maria La Cava; è una testimonianza dell'origine normanna di questa chiesa, fatta costruire (come risulta da un diplome del 1134) nel XII sec. da Adelasia, nipote di Ruggero II il Nornmanno, con il nome di Santa Maria Lo Plano. Insieme alla torre, cosìddetta Adelasia, e all'abside sono le uniche parti che si sono conservate dell'edificio medievale. |
