NDVI is an arithmetic combination of the Red and Near-Infrared bands of the image. NDVI is used in forestry, agriculture and environmental research to assess level of plant development and health. Here you can see the difference in growth of the wheat seedlings. Such patterns are due to the sowing machinery maneuvering around power masts |
