Title
Agnus Dei
Description
English: Copper alloy, circular seal matrix, hexagonal handle terminating in a single collar and a worn, originally trefoliar(?) suspension loop at top. Edges of face are chipped and much of the legend lost.

Device: (Described from impression) Remnants of the Agnus Dei. A lamb, facing left, probably originally looking back over its shoulder at the staff. The lamb's left foreleg is folded under him as he genuflects. The top of the staff is a cross with flared ends, possibly a cross patonce; below this a two- or three-tailed banner flies to the left from the staff, the tails forming a curve which means that the ends lie in from of the lamb's neck and body (tails visible as a lattice). The base of the staff disappears from view behind the lamb's back.

Measurements: face approximately 18 mm diameter; 27 mm high.
