Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Locally crafted rope and the axe ( Agbu na Anyụike) is used in Igbo land by mostly palm wine tappers to aid them in Climbing palm trees. The rope is tied around the tree and the palm wine tapper, which moves with him simultaneously as he climbs the tree, to give him support and balance, to avoid falling off the tree. The axe on the other hand, is used to cut down the palm fronds or palm fruits from the palm tree and it is also used to carve a hole on the palm tree where the palm wine is meant to come out from.
