English: DAKAR, Senegal (July 21, 2011) A small boat crew from Coast Guard Cutter Forward (WMEC 911) makes way toward a fishing vessel to be boarded as part of a African Maritime Law Enforcement Partnership (AMLEP) boarding with Coast Guard and Senegalese boarding teams. AMLEP is a branch of Africa Partnership Station (APS) that focuses on operating side-by-side with regional maritime services in order to stop and deter illicit transnational maritime activity by conducting these operations with African natives.
