English: Afon Llechwedd-mawr. The Afon Llechwedd-mawr runs from north to south through the western half of this square. It is a considerable barrier to traffic, and although there are a number of modern fords 1133051 for forestry vehicles, none of them look inviting to cross on foot on a cold mid January day. The river forms the county boundary between Ceredigion (west) and Powys (east). |
