[edit]DescriptionAfghans Provide Medical Care to Refugees, Coalition Forces Support DVIDS289635.jpg |
English: An Italian physician assigned to Task Force South greets an Afghan girl waiting in line to be treated in Farah, Afghanistan, June 9. Ministry of Health officials and coalition forces conducted a Village Medical Outreach Programat Mahajerbad Secondary School, for local village members. Many of the villagers were refugees, and they attended the VMOP because they cannot easily travel to Farah Hospital for treatment, so this outreach program was a way for the Ministry of Health officials to provide care to people in remote areas. |
