Description
Français : Évolution de la composition chimique de la charge pendant le puddlage. L'opération consiste à convertir une fonte truitée (fonte grise constituée d'un mélange de fonte blanche et de fonte grise) en fer à nerf (fer fibreux à cause des inclusions de laitier).
English: Evolution of chemical composition of iron during puddling. The operation consists in converting a mottled cast iron (gray cast iron which is mix of gray and white cast iron) into fibrous iron (the fibers are slag inclusions).
