Benjamin Schmidt was born in Prague in 1983, he is a writer, typographer, multiinstrumentalist and a poet. He earned a nickname Allen Petterson through his free writing, and slam poetry. He knows Vladimír Merta, Vladislav Matoušek, Oldřich Janota and Vojtěch a Irena Havlovy. He is a good friend with Jiří Dohnal, Petr Korbelář, Ondřej Smejkal, and Radana Lancová. He exhibited at Divadlo Komedie (Lucie Vondráčková),Betlémská Kaple, Klub Kaštan (Prague 6), Majk'L Atmosphere.

2015 His project This Way Down the Silence Is, under the Robertson Foundation, All Spring and Summer. CD Little by Little

He visites Santacittarama monastery, in Italy. Lives partly in Ireland Slea Head, Dingle penninsula. his website gallerymarvels.com
