The Mount Dennis fire station, built in 1921, has been converted to a community center. The tower for drying firehoses has been removed. The building had bays for two trucks. The truck(s) must have been quite short, as the fire station was not deep.
Most of the modest homes on this street are still standing. Category:Mount Dennis fire station
This church is still standing
When this photo was taken, this was a level crossing. Currently Eglinton, now two lanes in each direction, and two sidewalks pass under two separate rail lines, and an (abandoned) roadway.
This plant has been demolished
There is just one building on this site, standing where this building stood. It is taller than this building, and is oriented north-south.
There are plans to built a GO train station to accompany the light rail terminus.
The light rail terminal station is to include fifteen bus bays to feed the station.
Next to the LRT terminus there will be a yard and maintenance building for the line's vehicles.
Eglinton doesn't bend here, what looks like a small bend is actually where the road descends into Black Creek's broad ravine.
