Description
English: Aerial view of Saarburg, Germany, in early 1945. It fell to the U.S. 10th Armored Division on 24 February 1945 without opposition. Though the bridge at Saarburg across the Saar was completely destroyed, the U.S. 94th Infantry Division secured three bridgeheads near Saarburg on 22 February 1945.
