Description
English: The tale of disaster, misery and beauty. On 4 January 2010, a huge avalanche obstructed the stream of River Hunza, making this lovely natural lake and burring 20 individuals underneath it. The rising water uprooted a huge number of inhabitants and submerged innumerable towns, fields, plantations a well as a 19-kilometer extend of the Karakoram Highway (KKH).
