Aerial photo of New Brighton. The grassy stretches by the sea are known as 'The Dips' as they are low-lying (part of flood defence control). They are also used for special events such as the Wirral Show, the start of the Wirral Egg Run and various motor races. It is unfortunate that the aeroplane got in the way of the photo! |
