Description
English: This aerial photo highlights the progress crews have made on the new I-85 bridges over the Yadkin River in Davidson and Rowan counties.

The white area is the bridge deck, which is the part that cars drive on, in place thus far on the new I-85 North bridge. At this time, they have poured the concrete to form about 1,400 feet of bridge deck. Crews are concurrently building the I-85 South bridge.

The bridge on the lower half of the picture is the existing Yadkin River bridge.
