Summary
[edit]DescriptionAerengis biloba (3954594754).jpg |
Syn. Angraecum bilobum. These were thought by growers to be parasitizing and killing their trees. Our conclusions were that the orchids were just finding brightly lit places to grow; termites and phytophthora were killing the trees. Sick trees had more light reaching their branches, hence, more orchids, and the appearance of a cause-and-effect relationship. |
