Description Poster of Robert Saidreau : Robert Saidreau (ca. 1877-1925). Originally a music-hall comic, Saidreau joined Eclair Studios in 1909 as an actor, but almost immediately took up directing, becoming a specialist in police dramas. The poster seen here was created in 1913, when Saidreau took a rare fling at acting and scored a hit with "La Duchesse des Folies-Bergere."
