Description
English: Nautical chart of the Foveaux Strait, New Zealand. Note that the chart refers to the Middle and South Islands, which are now known as South Island and Stewart Island respectiely. Surveyed by Capt. J.L. Stokes, Commnder G.H. Richards, Messrs. F.J. Evans, Master, R. Bradshaw, Mate, J.W. Smith, 2nd Master, P.W. Oke & R. Burhett, Masters Assts., HMS Acheron, 1850-1851. Not current - not to be used for navigation!
