English: SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Aug. 6, 2022) Rear Adm. Cynthia Kuehner, commander of Naval Medical Forces Support Command (NMFSC) and 26th director of the US Navy Nurse Corps, speaks with students at megaGEMS summer symposium ceremony about their future and the great research they did over the summer, at University of the Incarnate Word, Aug. 6. Kuehner spoke to the girls about her career, balancing work and personal life, and provided tips to the girls about how to be successful. MegaGEMS is a program designed to empower female high school juniors and seniors work on research projects to inspire them to be innovative with their future in the fields of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
