Description
Deutsch: Adelsdiplom von Franz Joseph I. (Kaiser von Österreich 1848-1916) für Major Ignaz Oppenauer, mit Verleihung des Prädikates "Edler von Oppenau". Ausgestellt Wien, 30. April 1853, mit eigenhändiger Unterschrift des Kaisers. Pergamentlibell, 7 Seiten, teils goldgehöhte Kalligraphie, teils gedruckte ornamentale Bordüre, farbige Wappendarstellung. Samteinband mit goldgeprägter Doppeladlerdarstellung, anhängendes Siegel in Messingkapsel. Das Adelsdiplom ist im Heimatmuseum Oppenau/Baden-Württemberg ausgestellt. (Ignaz Oppenauer: * 8. November 1806 in Krumau/Böhmen, Sohn des Kapitänleutnants Georg Oppenauer. 1848 heiratete Ignaz Oppenauer die polnische Gutsbesitzertochter Ludowica von Brodzka, die im Jahr darauf infolge einer Lungenentzündung starb. 1853 heiratete er die Gräfin Emilie Ginori, Hofdame der Großherzogin Maria Antonia von Toskana. Ignaz Oppenauer kämpfte 1849 in der Schlacht von Kapolna gegen die aufständischen Ungarn und wurde schwer verwundet. 1852 wurde er Stadt- und Hafenkommandant von Livorno. 1859 nahm Ignaz Oppenauer am Sardinienkrieg teil, wurde schwer verwundet und 15. Oktober 1859 als Oberst pensioniert, † 18. Jänner 1878 in Oppenau/Baden-Württemberg, wo er auch bestattet wurde.)
