Mrs. Lindauer Wins Divorce for Cruelty. Mr. Adele Elisabeth Lindauer, 213 Beverly Hill Road, Clifton, won a divorce in Superior Court yesterday from Charles Lindauer, who quit under fire last year as head of the New Jersey Highway authority right-of-way division in an uncontested action, Mr. Lindauer charged extreme cruelty. She said her husband made her watch psychological TV plays against her will. She also charged him with choking and punching her and threatening her life. She told Judge Lawrence A. Cavinato, that her husband lives at the Paterson YMCA. They were married in 1941. Mrs. Lindauer was awarded $5 weekly alimony and $10 each for two children. Her husband must also pay expenses of the Clifton home.
