English: Adam and Eve - the Beckhampton Longstones This pair of sarsen stones are collectively known as the Beckhampton Longstones. Eve (on the left) is the only remaining stone in the Beckhampton Avenue. Adam (on the right in the foreground) is the only remaining stone in the Beckhampton Cove. Both are part of the neolithic monument centred on Avebury henge. The houses in the distance (to the right of the Adam stone) are at Avebury Truslow. |
