Description
Français : « L'HONORABLE ADELARD TURGEON DEPUTE DE BELLEGHASSE Né à Beaumont, vieille paroisse du comté de Bellechasse, le 19 décembre 1863. Fils de Damase Turgeon, cultivateur et négociant, et de Christine Turgeon. A fait ses études classiques au collège de Lévis et ses études légales à l'université Laval, à Québec. Admis au barreau le 12 juillet 1887. A épousé, le 19 juillet 1887, Eugénie, fille de feu Etienne Samson, constructeur de navires. Un des fondateurs de l'Union Libérale. Réside à Lévis. Pratique sa profession à Québec, en société avec Arthur Lachance. Elu dans le comté de Bellechasse le 17 juin 1890. Réélu le 8 mars 1892, le 11 mai 1897 et le 12 juin 1897. Ministre de la colonisation et des mines dans le gouvernement Marchand. »
