Description
English: Animal-rights activists of PACMA protest on September 09, 2012 in the Spanish town of Tordesillas, days before the Toro de la Vega, a medieval forerunner to the corrida, the stylized bullfight introduced around the end of the 17th Century, and held in the plain on the outskirts of town. Activists consider the annual event to be held on September 15 as one of the most barbaric of Spanish traditional festive occasions. © PACMA
