Acta Societatis pro Fauna et Flora Fennica, 26, n:o 5. 7 (Fig. 2) zeigt uns ein Blatt von Cicuta virosa, das noch fast ganz griin ist, obwohl der Blattstiel ganz zerstort ist; nur die Rippen sind intakt geblieben. Wenn wir zunahst den Bau der Pilzpocken betrachten, so sehen wir, dass der Parasit nicht eine Vermehrung sondern nur eine Vergrosserung der Mesophyllzellen hervorruft (Fig. 3). Alles schwach vergrossert und leicht schematisiert. welchen spater die Sporenschlauche gebildet werden, sondern uberhaupt auf alle in den Pusteln vorkommenden Mesophyllzel- len. In den Blattchen wirkt dieser Reiz weiter. Die um die eigentlichen Pilzpocken liegenden Mesophyllzellen werden auf weiteren Strecken merkbar vergrossert und der betreffende Blattteil zeigt sich als mehr oder weniger verdickt (Fig. 3, nach rechts, unten). Die Zellen der Blattrippen bleiben, wie gesagt, intakt (Fig. 3). Das Mycel des Pilzes verlauft sowohl in den Interzellu- larraumen als auch, von diesen ganz unabhangig, einzeln oder zu kleinen (2—6 Hyphen) Bundeln vereinigt, die Mittlamelle zerstorend.
