| Description |
English: Achmore Stone Circle The prehistoric stone circle at Achmore has been gradually uncovered by peat cutting since the 1930s, but it was only in 1981 that it was properly investigated. Most of the stones have fallen, having been buried in a thick layer of peat, but they appear to have formed a circle with a diameter of about 41 metres. |
