Aceratium ferrugineum (Rusty Carabeen) – fruiting. The fruit 3-4cm long, floccose ('hairy'), they become red and fall to the ground when ripe. The fruit is drupe, it has red juice sour taste, apparently edible ;) - similar to its relative Elaeocarpus Blue Quandong. Australian rainforest tree endemic to North-East Queensland.
