Körb., 1859 (photograph of a herbarium specimen taken through a dissecting microscope (x10) showing apothecia with a pruinose brown disk and thallus tissue reduced to a rim) Growing on exposed limestone along Bush Bay, near picnic area, ca. 6 miles E of Cedarville on M-134, Mackinac County, Michigan, USA; collected and identified by Richard E. Riefner (No. 81-418, 7 Jul 1981); specimen is now in the Lichen Herbarium of the New York Botanical Garden. |
