Opschriften / Merken: verzamelaarsmerk, verso, gestempeld: Lugt 240 Omschrijving: Gezicht op een binnenplaats met drie groepen kunstenaars die imitatie, observatie en perfectie representeren. De kunstenaars verschijnen voor wetenschappers. Geheel links staat de personificatie van de theorie. Geheel rechts staat de personificatie van de praktijk met een aap, symbool voor de im itatie. Ze grijpt blind weg van de voorstelling. Tussen de figuren staan verschillende sculpturen. Links- en rechtsonder papieren met tekst. Midden boven twee putti die een medaillon met tekst dragen: 'intelligenza et uzo'.
