Summary
[edit]DescriptionAcadem Three times four vertices equals twelve vertices.svg |
English: To construct the twelve vertices of a regular dodecagon, you can take at first a square. Then construct two other squares, with same size and same center, by turning 120 degrees around its center the first square, two times successively in the same sense. The number of vertices of the three squares equals 3 × 4 = 12. These vertices are evenly distributed on the circumcircle of the squares. |
