| Description |
Map series with graphic index, conventional signs reference sheet and compilation history. Provides full country coverage of Abyssinia. Some sheets were later used to compile series GSGS 3989 and OR 788. Map sheets numbered 1 to 35. Sheets portray hydrology, relief by form lines, hachures and spot heights, vegetation, railways, roads and tracks, telegraphs, settlements, significant buildings, place names and internal and international boundaries, and include topographical notes. Detail outside Abyssinia is minimal.Sheets bear the note 'The geographical Co-ordinates are not in accordance with File M.I. 4c/156(a)'.Some sheets also bear the name 'Mr M. Pearce'. |
