PAKKR STATION. rolled into the streets and knocked to pieces. The streets literally ranwith whiskey. A lieutenant told nie that it was to prevent the Yankeesfrom getting tight when they should enter the city. Unfortunately, the Confederate otRcers were allowed to fill their canteens.
