From the Lincoln National Life FoundationCharles E. Bull who reached his 90th birthday on February 26, 1971. From the Lincoln National Life Foundation Charles E. Bull at age 74 in 1955. he gained a national reputation as aLincoln impersonator. At the Century of ProgressWorlds Fair in Chicago (1933-34) heappeared in Lincoln attire at the AnnRutledge Tavern and gave autographsto thousands of visitors. He also per-formed as Lincoln on the stage andwent on tours appearing in hundredsof high schools and colleges through-out the country. Judge Bull always wore a beardlike the Sixteenth Presidents, andhis hair and dress resembled Lincolnsin every detail. He once made thestatement, I am proud of the physi-cal resemblance which nature gaveme, but I never aped the man; Ihave never paraded the hat, coat andshawl unless in character on stage orin parades. Having enjoyed an interesting andworthwhile career, Judge Bull livesquietly at his home in Los Angeles,California, reminiscing over eventsin hi
