Description

“I am an eighth grade student and just want to say that the session held at our school today was very informative. I learned a lot of things like how to save electricity using energy savers, how many distribution companies there are, how electricity is produced, what role we as students play in conserving electricity for the nation. I really enjoyed the quiz session where the PESCO team asked questions and distributed prizes. I hope they come back to our school again.” Edwards College School, Peshawar Student Shahzaib Khan

(Picture Above) Energy Conservation Campaign at Peshawar Electric Supply Company: PESCO in collaboration with the USAID Power Distribution Program rolled out the highly significant "Energy Conservation Drive" in different schools and colleges of Peshawar. The second phase of this activity was carried out in Edwards College School of Peshawar which was eagerly attended by approximately 5,000 students and teachers. The students described these sessions as being among the best events arranged at their college. Building mass awareness on energy conservation ensures that each student participating in the session will inform his / her parents, siblings and friends about the measures discussed.
