English: Abhainn Shira: A bridge to nowhere The river is very mobile here and does not correspond well to the maps. Here the old estate path has been taken out by a new, as yet unmapped bend. The bridge over a boggy burn just points into the river. Note the corresponding shingle bank on the far side as the meander forms. |
