Français : Portrait d'Abel Patoux par Francis Tattegrain ( 11 octobre 1842 - 1 er janvier 1915). Maître du Naturalisme le peintre Francis Tattegrain est l'un des peintres les plus réputés de le IIIème République. Une de ses commandes publiques la plus célèbre est " L'Entrée de Louis VI à Paris" pour l'Hôtel de Ville de Paris en 1892.
C'est à Berck, sur la côte d'Opale, ville où son père conseiller à la cour d'appel d'Amiens fit construire un chalet de villégiature qu'il rencontre l'écrivain d'Art Abel Patoux de la Société Académique de Saint-Quentin. Le jeune Francis y passe tout son temps à chasser les oiseaux de mer dans le baie d'Authie ou de la Canche… Abel Patoux consacre à ce sujet l'essentiel du premier chapitre de la NOTICE BIOGRAPHIQUE qu'il publie en 1902, décrivant un adolescent de 16 à 17 ans prêt à se déguiser en pêcheuse pour tromper la vigilance des oiseaux… Abel Patoux qui possédait une Villa sur les dunes de Berck restera lié d'amitié avec l'illustre peintre. |
