Español: Corto la hoja dio un pequeño vuelo hasta la pared, donde reposo quizas un par de minutos y salio volando con su trozo de hoja, se lo vi hacer tres veces.
La Megachile centuncularis o abeja cortadora de hojas se parece a la abeja común. Aqui tiene lugar una generación por año, los adultos en primavera (abril/mayo) es cuando aparece. Recorta trozos semicirculares de hojas para fabricar sus nidos, no para alimentarse. Los agujeros son perfectamente regulares, tanto circulares como semicirculares. Los daños son estéticos. Huéspedes habituales: Rosal, Lilo, Glicinia, Aligustre, Rododendro...En este caso se marcha con un trozo de hoja de un lilo El trozo cortado de hoja lo transporta al nido que suele ser una rama hueca o cualquier agujerito que comunique con una galería mas o menos profunda. Allí dejará el trozo de hoja enrollada, tapizando las paredes del nido. Depositará su huevo y dejará una buena provisión de polen y néctar para su futura larva ; seguidamente lo sellará y de nuevo volverá al rosal a por más hojas. ¡Hay que prepararlo todo para su próximo huevo |
