English: This view of the southeast corner of Third Avenue and Pike Street in downtown Seattle shows the Abbott Hotel building. The building, also known as the Fisher Building, was designed about 1890 by architect Elmer H. Fisher (1840-1905); it is no longer standing, having been replaced in 1920 by a new building which in turn was replaced by the Woolworth Building in 1940, currently Ross. Businesses in image: Great American Importing Tea Co., Teas, Coffees, Spices; Fashion; Richards & Giersch Barbers and Baths; Office Empire Laundry; Butterworth & Sons, Undertakers Signs in image: Hemrich Bros.
