| Description |
Photographs of palm trees on The English Riviera's beautiful and flourishing micro-climate. The Torbay Palm (Cordyline Australis) may be originally from New Zealand, but as they are the official symbol of The English Riviera they are planted in overabundance in Torbay. This Torquay Seafront park is literally full of them. Hanging out over the water on the left is an enermous Chamaerops Humilis, the most northern naturally occuring palm in the world, I counted its many trunks last year and I think it had about 8 of them. |
