English: Cymer Abbey is a former Cistercian abbey near the village of Llanelltyd, on the bank of the River Mawddach about two miles north of Dolgellau, Gwynedd, Wales. The old name for the spot was Cymer Deuddwfr.

Cymer was one of the last Cistercian houses to be built in Wales. It was founded in 1198 by monks from Cwm Hir Abbey under the patronage of Maredudd ap Cynan, cousin of Llywelyn the Great.
