English: Abandoned early opencasting site at Blaen Pig The quarried face forms the ridge top of Cefn Garnyrerw on the very edge of the Blaenavon Industrial Landscape World Heritage Site. The traces of a number of coal seams can still be found in the gullies between the spoil heaps in the area to the north (left hand side of this image). |
