| Description |
English: Abandoned cottage and a dog on Rocks Road Ballyhornan appears to be a paradise for elderly dogs. Obviously they had not heard of Stormont's plan to raise the dog licence fee by 1000% from £5 to £50 per annum. The outcry from dog owners, however, was such that Agriculture Minister, Michelle Gildernew, Sinn Fein, promptly revised her plans, and instead raising the licence fee to £12.50 for those dogs whose owners are under the age of 65. Last time I paid for a dog licence it was 37.5p. |
