English: Abandoned Fayle's tramway, 1972. This connected clay pits and works with, originally, a wharf on Poole Harbour, later with an interchange with the Swanage branch railway. It was regauged from 3'-9" to 600 mm in 1948, and use of this part ceased in about 1970. The level crossing with the A351 is ahead. |
