Description
Deutsch: Man blickt von der Schafskul am Geusenweg vom Nordhang des Aachener Preuswaldes aus nach Norden.

In der Entfernung sieht man drei Halden ehemaliger Steinkohlenbergwerke des Aachener Reviers. Links die Halde steht wahrscheinlich in Kohlscheid. Die zwei Halden mehr rechts liegen zwischen Merkstein und Alsdorf.

Am rechten Bildrand sieht man den Lousberg, ein typischer Zeugenberg.

Ein sehr ähnliches Panorama beschreibt Professor Walter in seinem Buch über Aachener Georouten[1].

Geht man der Geouroute folgend von der Schafskule wieder zurück auf den Geusenweg (rechts im Bild), dann gelangt man nach einigen hundert Metern hangabwärts und in Richtung Norden zu auffälligen Dachsbauten. Sie geben einen guten Blick auf frisch freigelegte Vaalser Grünsande.
