Feuille de rubanier asphyxiée par la pullulation de bactéries filamenteuses, dans l'Aa où ce phénomène était constant sur 10 km environ dans les années 1985-1990. C'est sur cette section de l'Aa qu'on a identifié des souches mutantes de bactéries chlororésistantes (Nord-Nature Saint Omer, SOS Nature-Défense des milieux humides). La situation s'est fortement améliorée depuis 1995 concernant la qualité de l'eau, avec l'extension de la station d'épuration de l'usine et des changements de process. Il y a eu aussi des pollutions accidentelles, ou de lessivage suivant des pluies d'orage. |
