| Description |
émissaire de rejet d'effluent (eau turbide, brune, tiède et riche en bactéries et en fibres) de la dernière des 4 papeteries de la vallée (à Blendecques, au centre de la commune, ici en décembre 1993). En 1993, c'est encore une des principales sources de pollution de l'Aa ; c'est à partir de ce point que pullulent les bactéries filamenteuses, jusqu'à St Omer au moins. La situation s'est fortement améliorée depuis concernant la qualité de l'eau, avec l'extension de la station d'épuration de l'usine et des changements de process. Il y a eu aussi des pollutions accidentelles, ou de lessivage suivant des pluies d'orage. |
