| Description |
English: 23 April 2008. I was still finding snags in Haringey Council's online Report-a-Problem webform.
It was early days for the system. Reporting this dumped trolley did not proceed entirely smoothly as I tapped-in my answers to the webform's questions. Its Artificial Intelligence ('HaringeyAi' ) refused to accept: "Trolley on the pavement at the east end of Carew Road near the corner with Park View Road". Once more HaringAi insisted on an address with a number. There was no number on this wall. So I used my previous solution - making up a number. 007 Carew Road. worked! But then HaringAi demanded new information. It wanted a house-name. Hmm. A wall named Wally? Waltraud? No. Time for a simple but dignified ceremony. "I name this brick wall 'Margaret'.
