Description
English: A view from the East Suffolk line trackbed. This view was taken from what used to be the track of the East Suffolk line near the abutment of the dismantled railway bridge just south of the former Haddiscoe high level station that used to take the railway over the tracks of the then Great Eastern line (now the Wherry Line, seen in the background, top right corner). For a view of the dismantled bridge from Haddiscoe station - presently served by the Wherry Line - see > 1483050. Nothing remains of the station building but the station platforms > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1483143 and a waiting room > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1483155 - incorporated into a private garden - are still in place, as are the (converted) signal box > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1483245 and adjoining buildings.
