Description
Magyar: "1875. június 26-án Budára óriási eső hullott és ezt követően a környező hegyek lejtőiről a Krisztina- és Rácvárosra zúdult a hegyekről leömlő csapadék. Ez a hatalmas víztömeg a városrészek egyetlen vízelvezetőjébe, az Ördög-árokba gyűlt. Ennek hatására pedig az addig békésen folydogáló patak hihetetlen gyorsasággal kilépett medréből, elöntötte a Krisztinavárost és környékét, olyannyira, hogy pl. az Attila úton a házak ablakán folyt be a víz, de másutt akadt olyan épület is, amely még rosszabbul járt."
