Summary

[edit]
Description Mamma mia, I had seen these in movies and had read about them in novels as a kid, but I never realized that such things actually existed in reality in the world! This narrow circular hole cut in the ground is a dungeon to hold prisoners. The girls pointed out to rings on the beams for the shackles etc. Good lord, imagine being literally holed up in a pit like that for months together! I read on someone's blog that there are holes like this all over the place in Uplistsikhe dug up to various depths to hole prisoners (how many?) but fortunately for me, this is the only one I spotted, and that was quite enough for me!
